Psychological Assessments and Reports
Beacon provides independent psychological assessments to help understand a child or young person’s learning and wellbeing needs. Assessments are tailored to the individual and may include standardised testing, observation, and consultation with staff and parents/carers.
Areas of focus include:
Learning and cognition (including assessment of specific learning difficulties).
Social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Practical recommendations that schools and parents can act on.
At Beacon, we support schools in strengthening their SEND systems and leadership capacity. Our consultancy and coaching services provide practical, tailored guidance that helps leaders feel confident, supported, and equipped to make meaningful changes.
Services include:
Whole-school SEND strategy and provision advice — support with evaluating current provision, planning improvements, and measuring impact.
Leadership coaching for SENDCOs and senior leaders — structured sessions to develop confidence, resilience, and skills in leading SEND.
Embedding pupil voice and rights-based participation (UNCRC) — guidance to build meaningful systems for listening to and acting on pupil perspectives.
Format: Sessions can be delivered in person or online, with half-day and full-day options available.
